So the struggle is real. Here I am, trying to build a business and bring my ideas to life, but I guess the universe has other ideas. I final sit down to the sewing machine I get from my mom, and it’s a total disaster! It’s old, not working properly, and of course I have no money to get it fixed. So the next alternative was to use a friends seeing machine. She doesn’t use it, and as a small business owner herself (baking) she understands my struggle. Alas, she can’t find her power cord and believes she left it at her Mother’s. So the waiting begins. For me, who can’t afford a new sewing machine, this is frustrating. It seems as if as soon as I get the motivation to move forward, there’s something holding me back. I like to think its a sign that I need to make a way out of no way and push harder toward my dreams. From this my successes will mean so much more to me. Until then, I’ll just sew them by hand.
